HACKDMA GUIDE

HackDMA Brief description of the power supply

! ! ! When flipping the paddle switch, please flip it gently and firmly, do not use violence! ! !

HackDMA has three power supply modes (If the picture is too small to see clearly, you can zoom in)

The first power supply mode is PCIE pass-through mode

Turn the No. 1 paddle to 12V power supply (PCIE power supply) mode, and turn the No. 2 paddle to 12V power supply and (PCIE power supply) mode.

In this mode, the external switch will be invalid and cannot control the start and stop of DMA!

The second power supply method is to control the DMA power supply through an external switch.

Turn the No. 1 switch to 12V power supply (PCIE power supply) mode, turn the No. 2 switch to the external switch,

This mode is mainly for customers who play games that do not require DMA assistance, but are afraid that DMA will affect your other games. Just press the switch to turn off the DMA, your game console will not run the DMA, so you can play other games in pure green, it is convenient for customers to turn off the DMA, no need to disassemble the case and disassemble the DMA device, convenient and fast!

After playing the game, if you want to watch a movie and relax, press the switch to power off the DMA, which can effectively extend the service life of the DMA~~~!

It should be noted that since the DMA channel can only be linked once, if you want to link the DMA channel again, you need to restart the computer

The third power supply mode is the USB data line power supply, which directly uses the data line to power the DMA

Turn the No. 1 paddle to 5V power supply (usb data cable power supply) mode, and the No. 2 paddle will be invalid at this time! Don’t worry about paddle 2 The JTAG port will play two functions at this time, JTAG Flash firmware + USB power supply

It is mainly for notebook customers to use DMA devices, because notebooks need to use M2 to PCIE transfer devices or Thunderbolt to PCIE devices.

However, these two transfer devices cannot supply power to DMA devices, and an external power supply is required to supply power to DMA devices, which istroublesome. USB power supply only needs to plug in the USB data cable to supply power to DMA devices through USB.
